OUR FACILITY
We take pride in keeping a very clean in-home puppy nursery and kennel facility. Our premises are flea-free. Moms (and dads) are current on vaccinations and dewormed before breeding. Moms are freshly bathed and groomed just  prior to giving birth. Our dogs and puppies eat and drink out of stainless steel dishes and sometimes crocks for those puppies  who cannot resist tipping! Puppy blankets are changed and toys are washed  daily or more often if needed. For the health of the puppies, no one may touch any  dogs or puppies without using a hand sanitizer. Puppies are shown by appointment. Puppies on deposit may be visited by appointment and nursery visits are encouraged.
Adult housing,  we have some housedogs and some in-house kennel dogs ( shown before painting was finished)). All adults are fed/watered in stainless steel dishes/pails. All are kept clean, groomed and are well cared for. They are  given lots of attention  and loved. They are allowed to run free for daily exercise (supervised) in small groups on our acreage.
Grooming/Laundry Area. This is a great setup for grooming the dogs and at times may be used as an isolation area(note the stainless steel kennels to the right of the dryer).  Puppies are groomed many times before going home and are used to the procedure.
Just behind by desk is a gate that leads to the whelping room. We try to give new moms a few days of privacy, that is the reason for the gate, all  floors in the whelping room and the nursery are industrial tile which makes it very easy to sanitize. Walls in contact with puppies are covered in "milkhouse board" which is a fiberglass material for ease in cleaning.
Here we show the nursery, our  newborn pups and moms  are housed in ex-pens then  moved into puppy playpens as they get a bit older. They eat and drink out of stainless steel dishes and occasionally crockery ones for those litters who tip thir water. They have stuffed and rubber toys to stimulate play. All food dishes, toys and bedding  are washed daily. Water bowls are changed many times per day. My computer is on my  (always messy!!) desk so they get constant attention as I am  always working in that room. Pups are handled many times per day and are very social.
Visitors coming to see pups must sanitize hands. Do not be offended by this, it is for the protection of our puppies. IF you have visited other litters  before arriving PLEASE let us know!
