| RAINBOW KENNEL puppies are vet checked, dewormed, vaccinated and are ready to go at 8 weeks of age. If you put a pup under deposit we ask that they be picked up as close to that date as feasible. Please schedule any vacations or obligations around puppy's ready to go date. There will be an additional charge for pups here longer then 1 week past pick up date (when under deposit). We accept a deposit only when you have seen a photo of your pup (baring any computer or camera glitches) or have come to RAINBOW KENNEL to select your pup. The deposit (50% of purchase price) is to hold that particular puppy for you and is nonrefundable if you change your mind and don't take the puppy. (please see our contract page) We will hold a particular pup for 24 hours as a courtesy to give your family time to discuss that pup after you've seen a photo via email or have visited and viewed the litter in person. After 24 hrs we request the deposit be forthcoming or an appointment set up to view the pup in person as we can't keep the puppy in limbo longer. If we don't hear back in 24 hours we have to assume you are not taking the puppy and it's still available. It is very common (and recommended if several pups in a litter are of same color and sex for us to help select the puppy we feel is most appropriate for your family. We generally do not ship our puppies. Many of our clients do fly in to pick up their new pups and as a convenience we will bring the pup to the airport so a flight can be taken right back home (owner must bring a soft pet carrier with them and pup must travel in passenger area with it's owner). We do not deliver pups otherwise so please don't ask. Canadian customers have not had any trouble with border crossings as a current health certificate is provided. Email or call (9am-10pm eastern please) for available puppies. If your email isn't answered promptly please call or re-email as the quantity of emails and time answering them is at times overwhelming or sometimes an email is lost in bulk mail. We have voice mail and unlimited long distance service (Canada included), so if we miss your call please leave a message, your name , your phone# (please repeat it twice) and a good time to return the call. You can also back up a voice message by leaving an additional email with a good time to reach you. We now have PAYPAL capabilities and are able to take charge and debit cards (please do not use personal checks with paypal). Customers need to visit www.paypal.com to set up a paypal account in advance of puppy purchase. It's an easy and convenient process. (We have decided to stop the brutal and unnecessary practice of docking puppy tails and removing dewclaws. We have decided to keep our cocker puppies as nature intended with their beautiful tails intact. Our cockers are beautiful examples of the breed with exceptionally sweet temperaments. (50% deposit required) If you are going to ask me to dock the tail I will have to politely refuse and ask you to look elsewhere (Absolutely no exceptions) Sorry no cocker puppies at this time. |

| KENNEL VISITATION POLICIES: 1. We are open by appt only, we prefer a 24 hour (or more) notice when making an appointment but sometimes can be available for an afternoon appointment when called early that day. Generally our first appt of the day is scheduled for 1 pm (We may allow an earlier 12noon puppy pickup for people far away). Currently weekend and evening appts are available.Weekdays sometimes possible. Appts are scheduled when we have pups you would like to view. Once a pup is under deposit you can visit a few times while your pup is growing up. Please dress casually for your visit, remember that puppies have little claws that can damage "dress" clothes especially nice sweaters.. Jeans and tees or sweatshirts are perfect, good chance that is what I'll be wearing! It is muddy here in wet/snowy weather (especially our driveway in the spring), It can be icy in winter please wear appropriate footwear. Please park on the roadside if our driveway appears muddy or icy and you don't have 4 wheel drive. I generally greet people in the driveway and show them in. Please be aware that if you are out for a drive and call via cell phone when you are "intown" and want a late minute appt that may not be acceptable. 2. Please bring your children only and or people that live with your family. We cannot be responsible for other people's kids. Plus we do not know what pets your child's friends have at home. Parents must supervise children at all times. Children may not be left alone in vehicles during your visit here.. Please refrain from bringing lots of extra adult people unless they are a needed driving companion. We understand you may want to bring a friend or relative that doesn't live with you and thats absolutely fine but please refrain from bringing lots of extra people. Space is limited in the nursery and it's distracting to give all the required information to the new owner if we have to converse with several extra people. Also we don't know what additional people have at home for animals and it presents a bit of a risk to the pups and breeding stock. If you need to bring "extras" please let us know and tell us about their pets in advance of the visit. If you or your children are sick please inform us before the scheduled visit. 3. We request that all family members (children and adults) stay within the puppy nursery when here to view pups or be outside only with one of our family members present. We have a horse and ponies, goats, and electric fences, firewood piles etc on premises and feel it isn't in the best interest to let people (adults or children) wander. Please understand this rule is FIRM. 4. We are a smoke free premises. No smoking in the house or barn or backyard. You may use tobacco products at the end of the driveway area or front yard away from the house . Please pick up any cigarette butts, there is a "butt" container near the front gate. . 5. If traveling with a dog, your dog may exercise on the front yard only. No dogs are allowed to enter our gated yard, NO EXCEPTIONS! please pick up any poo! Please refrain from walking in dog areas of rest stops on your way here, they are laden with disease. If you have no choice but to do so please bring spare shoes to wear into the nursery. Dogs must remain in the car while owner is in the nursery viewing puppies.As this is a common question.... No dogs will be allowed in our back yard (past the gate) or in the Nursery for the safety of our pups and breeding stock, your dog cannot help select his new companion. (NO EXCEPTIONS). 6.To protect the health of our puppies and moms and dads, please do not visit any pet stores and handle puppies or visit other breeders before coming to our nursery. Everyone is made to use hand sanitizer upon arrival please do not be offended by this procedure. If there is any reason you cannot use a sanitizer just let me know and we will offer soap and water. 7. Everyone must sit when handling puppies, adults and children. If anyone in the family needs extra assistance due to a disability please let me know when you make the appt. (We are handicapped (wheelchair) accessible but I might need to move a "roadblock" from the hallway etc to get a wheelchair in etc ). Also if anyone has a hidden disability that I should be aware of (be it a communications issue or something that would relate to watching more careful when pups are handled) PLEASE let me know in advance. Certain disabilities or conditions require more careful selection of pups so please be open if we need to have a discussion about this. . Please be aware that there are cats on premises for those that would require allergy meds in advance of the visit. We also have no choice but to use chemicals in our cleaning and sanitizing procedures, please let us know in advance if you are chemically sensitive and we will do our best to limit use before your visit and while you are here. 8. Feel free to ask any questions you might have, it sounds like we have alot of rules but our puppies are first priority, we pride ourselves on sending home healthy puppies. HAVE FUN and enjoy your visit. |

| "THEODORE", Buff Male, beautiful green eyes, 14 pounds, square build. Born December 1, 09. Note this pup is friendly but a bit shy at first so would have an easier transistion with a quiet adult family or kids 12 and up. Possibly a single younger child of average activity level would suit him as well. He is not in any way nippy and is fine with small kids handling him. I am not sure he would do perfectly in house with several small children all at once. He is around my 4 yr old grandson daily so an excellent pup for grandparent's. He is very loving and loves to be on laps. He likes to cuddle on the couch with my grandson, lets him pick him up etc. Quiet in his crate, housetraining coming along well. |

| NOTE: This puppy is still here do to no fault on his part. He vet checked AOK. It is extremely unusual for us to have older puppies available. Possibly the time of year they were born, the recession, my crazy schedule this year or alot of people wanting female pups when they were available. Give this precious boy some thought. Although it may take him a little while to feel comfortable in his new home he is well worth the effort. He is craving some one on one attention and with a houseful new pups I'd love for him to get a permanent homes. Price somewhat flexible. Let's talk. |
